Response To Intervention

Teacher

Response to Intervention (RtI), is a framework and system that helps document students’ progress. It helps to identify those students who are struggling early and provide the support and interventions necessary to assist them in learning to become a better reader and/or improve their math skills. As a part of the identification process, teachers are able to provide interventions early in the classroom to bring their students up to grade level before they get further behind. Teachers are currently teaching sight words and using interactive games and lessons to improve their reading and math skills. Part of the research shows that interactive computer games can help make learning fun, and improve the basic skills necessary to students becoming better readers and learn basic math skills. The links below are some of the sites that our RtI Team has identified as good sources for children to use to become more proficient.

We hope you will try them!
