Congratulations to Devin Wala who has been appointed by County Superintendent Linda O’Dell to serve as the fifth member of our governing board.  Mr. Wala will complete the term left vacant when Ms. Barbara Shepherd relocated to the Valley.

 District is Considering Proposals for Frontier Elementary School and the former Payson Center for Success Building

The district has received several proposals for Frontier Elementary School and the former Payson Center for Success Building.  Representatives from the Board and district administration are in the process of meeting with representatives from the various entities making those proposals.  If you have any questions you may call the Superintendent’s Office directly at (928) 472-5810.

Daria Mason Honored by the Arizona Music Educators’ Association

The Arizona Music Educators’ Association Board announced January 11, 2013, that Payson High School’s Daria Mason has been selected to receive the O. M. Hartsell Excellence in Teaching Award; she will accept this award on Friday, February 1, 2013 at the AMEA Conference at the Hall of Fame Luncheon.  This award is given to those members who have demonstrated exceptional ability as a teacher of music.

 Ms. Mason is a PHS Longhorn Legend. Congratulations! We are proud of you!
